History
The Art Center began as an art club in 1954. Today, even though The Art Center is incorporated, it still maintains the warm and supportive atmosphere of a club. In 1971, The Art Center purchased and renovated a picturesque old barn located just two miles west of Mechanicsburg. The facility includes three galleries and six classrooms. The Art Center offers year-round art instruction, workshops, lectures, exhibits and other visual arts related activities.
